See Your Renovation Before It Happens

Visualiser une rénovation avec l'IA avant de demander un devis à un artisan

"Modern kitchen, open layout, good lighting" means something different to you than it does to a contractor. A vague brief gets a vague quote — and vague quotes are where renovation budgets go wrong. This is about closing that gap before you ever pick up the phone: turning your idea into an actual image, then handing that image to the person doing the work.

Why a vague brief gets a vague quote

Contractors price what they can see. Without a clear reference, a quote has to cover every version of "modern" they can imagine — which usually means it's padded, or it's cheap and misses what you actually wanted. A photo of the finished look removes the guesswork on both sides.

Step 1 — Photograph the room as it actually is

Not a tidied-up shot — the real room, real lighting, real angle you'd stand in to look at it. The AI needs the true geometry (window placement, wall length, ceiling height) to produce something a contractor can actually use, not a fantasy render of a different room.

Step 2 — Generate two or three real directions, not one

One render is a guess. Three — say a safe option, a bolder one, and something in between — gives you an actual decision to make instead of a single idea to accept or reject. Compare them against your budget before you compare them against each other.

Step 3 — Bring the image, not the adjectives

When you request quotes, attach the render instead of describing the look. Contractors quote against what's in front of them — a specific cabinet finish, a specific tile pattern, a specific light fixture — far more accurately than against "something warm and modern."

What to check before you send a render to a contractor

  • ✓Does it show the real layout — same windows, same doors, same walls — or did the AI invent a different room shape?
  • ✓Can you point to specific materials in it (a cabinet color, a floor type), not just a general mood?
  • ✓Did you generate more than one option, so the contractor is pricing a decision you've actually made?
  • ✓Is the lighting in the render close to your room's real lighting — a render lit like a showroom will always look better than reality can match?

A contractor can't quote your imagination. Show them the room you're actually asking for.
